Police Records Clerk
The City of Chandler Police Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Police Records Clerk. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits. The Chandler Police Records Department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Police Records Clerks are required to work various schedules which include days, swings, nights, weekends and holidays. The position is regular full-time, subject to a six (6) month probationary period. Once off of probation, schedules are determined two (2) times per year, each for six (6) months in duration.

Who we are looking for
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone with experience and/or training in fast paced customer service, data entry, clerical, or related field. Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired.

* High school diploma or GED equivalency;
* One (1) year experience and/or training in fast paced customer service, data entry, clerical work or related field;
* Obtain and maintain a Level A Terminal Operator Certification by the Department of Public Safety within six (6) months of hire ; or
* Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

The position available is regular full-time position and is subject to a six (6) month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for six (6) months should another position become available.
The City of Chandler will conduct a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results.
The City of Chandler fingerprints all applicants selected for hire to evaluate the fitness of prospective employees. The examination process may vary if determined necessary.
